Coega Wind Farm
Coega Wind Farm is a renewable energy project located just outside Nelson Mandela on the Eastern Cape coastline of South Africa.
The farm is located in Coega, an Industrial Development Zone of about 110 km of land, located within the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality close to Port Elizabeth.
AfriCoast Energy were involved as project engineers responsible for the development stage including electrical, civil and structural design, as well as installation of the wind monitoring mast.
